Rotary Plow in Glacier N.P.

I pulled out a image from last year at this time. It’s a rotary plow in Glacier National Park cutting through a 40-foot deep section of snow on the west side of the Going-to-the-Sun Road at Logan Pass. The park service spends close to $800,000 each year plowing and repairing the road that gives access to thousands of visitors every summer.

Spring eagles

It has been a great spring so far for shooting. I had the chance to photograph a pair of nesting eagles near Polson, Montana. Here is a shot from my last trip down to see the birds. It’s amazing to see and hear what they do.

First wedding of the 2007 summer season

You know it’s spring time when birds return, snow melts and wedding bells chime. I shot my first wedding of the 2007 season this past weekend. Here are a few shots from a wedding at Glacier Camp in Lakeside, Montana on Saturday, May 26, 2007.
